Hi , sorry to hear you are having problems and I hope you get some answers once you get the results of your biopsies.  In the meantime Quiescent means quiescent[kwi·es'?nt]

1 inactive, quiet, or at rest.

    2 latent.

    3 dormant.

Hope that helps a little.  A colonoscopy is not good but it does help get results as to what is happening.  Good luck and hopefully good news soon.
