Quietipine

Hi all I am on 75mg of quietipine for GAD, take 50mg at night and 25 mg in the day time, I'm seeing GP this week as this was given to me for sleep, it's not knocking me out , I'm unsure when to take it at night, I tried taking the full 75 mg 2 hours before bed I found it cause insomnia, any advice would be lovely thank you

    Yea....I don't think that is a good sign that you are not sleeping on it..most people do.....I DIDNT either and I was suffering from too much Seratonin.

    Do you take any other drugs that impact Seratonin?

      Hi missy2, thank you for your reply x yes I take 15mg mirtz at night also, I've heard high doses of quietipine don't help sleep I thin . Tonight I'll take 25 mg at 7.30pm then the other 25 mg around 9 pm I've heard people say it knocks them out. It's really confusing me xxx

      its simple to me...cause i had the same experience..it doesn't work for you....and it causes alot of weight gain as well.

      Better off asking Dr. for a real sleeping pill....since this drug is for depression.
