quitting with the pills?

Im starting to feel frustrated with the sideeffects of my pills, im taking 300mg of venlafaxine. i tried all of the pills and all of them have the same side effect (my libido is almost dead) except Duloxetine and Milnacipran (but they cause terrible pain in my testicles and i stop producing sperm).
so i've been thinking to stop taking medication at all. my psychiatrist thinks itll make my anxiety, ocd and depression make a comeback and its better to live (almost) without sex desire than to regress.
im 23 y/o and have been taking medication since im 16. my anxiety, ocd and depression was so severe that i couldnt manage any inkling of normal life. but im not so sure ill regress.

Therapy is a better longer term and safer solution, meds won't generally cure these kinds of problems only help with effects until the root cause can be resolved. Therapy can help you with that

Yes this can be a real problem, you need a good heart to heart with your Specialists regarding stopping the medications.
There may be drugs out there you could try, there are some new ones across the water although not available here
Make an informed choice and even do some research yourself

Hi, I just read your discussion, and I am wondering if it's the Milnacipran that is taking away your climax. I have found that Cynbalti, gave me back mine.I was on other antidepressants that took away that something in the bedroom. The Milnacipran is used to treat fibromyaliga. Why are you on that. This is the problem I have with phychiatrist. They give all this weird medication. The Milnacipran takes away the being able to climax. I still want to know why you take that. I can not take effexor(venlafaxine).it makes me so screwed up.But I do great with Cynbalta(duloxetine).
