Racing Heart and Sweating in Night - Holter Monitor

Posted , 3 users are following.

Hello All ,

This is going on for almost many months. I was hooked up with Event Monitor for 1 month period which found nothing and doctor said there is no AFib or Arrhythmia .

Last night suddenly I got up because of racing heart , sweating all over the body. Pulse rate was between 110-116 for almost 5 minutes and then it came down to normal

Any idea what could be the issue. Cardiologist did all ECG , EKG , CT but everything is normal. Event Monitor and Holter Moonitor also didnt capture anything..

Thank You

It sounds like a panic attack your having. if the doctor checked you and and said you are fine then don't worry. i get the same thing it feels alot worse when you wake up with a racing heart. get an appointment with the doctor and get something to help you. also look up moodjuice on the net it will give you some some advice. hope you feel better soon.

yes very common with anxiety and panic. ive had it too many many times.. yourbrain sends out adrenaline which causes racing heart AND PANIC FEELING its not harmful. you can listen to great meditations for panic that really help! THEY TALK YOU THRU IT!

one called Stop panic attack now, many others.

try talking to a counselor for help. there are ways to manage it that help. think of things that may be causing anxiety in your life.

    take care! ❤

Thank you Jenna and Jan 34534 for your kind words

I agree with your point that it may be anxiety. Lately I am thinking too much about this pain. I can understand our mind is super powerful thing in the world as if it can drive a car with sub conscious mind then there is no doubt it can create these anxiety stuffs out of the blue for us..

Overall symptoms are going on since last year july . I suddenly get too much of sweating , dizziness or light headedness and most of the time feel like if I am drunk. I was evaluated by doctors while I was having symptoms like my 2D ECHO was at the moment when I was at peak of these symptoms , same with multiple EKG's but during those times Racing heart was not there..
