Do you have skin issues anywhere else on your body, such as eczema or psoriasis? Also, do you knowingly have any autoimmune conditions?

The best medical professional for you to see would be a Dermatologist that deals with genital skin conditions ......

      hi

um no dont have any skin conditions any wherr else on my body.

i dont have any autoimmune conditions that i know of just hayfever if that counts.

how would i check for auto immune condition?

      thank you

Ben, I ask this as what autoimmune problems cause is a compromise to the immune system, many of these are skin conditions affecting different parts of the body, and can also show in skin issues on the penis - I actually have 2 autoimmune conditions , one of which affects my foreskin and head / glans of my penis.

Normally autoimmune conditions are obvious and sufferers will have them checked out by a Doctor, and again, this is why I asked whether you had skin problems elsewhere on your body such as eczema or psoriasis.

What you could have is the beginnings of a severe skin condition, get this checked by a Doctor, Dermatologist or simply go to any Sexual Health Service or GUM Clinic if you are in the UK.

Please update your post here once you have seen a Medical professional ......

      thank you for your reply

      ah i see..

sounds quite alarming,i did think maybe it was lichen sclerosus myself as it does look like that.

i hope its not as that looks like it is a horrible condition to live with.

when you say it could be the beginnings of a severe condition is this what you mean?or something else?

yes i will try to see a dermatologist but i live in france now and language is a bit of an issue.

      many thanks .

Yes, something like Lichen Sclerosus is a strong possibility. I have it and it can be managed with using a strong steroid ointment.

It is likely a Dermatologist would do a biopsy of the skin to confirm what it is you actually have ......
