Ramapril and joint pain

I am a 61 year old woman who has been taking Ramapril for 7 or 8 years. I have terrible joint & muscle pain, especially fingers, arms, knees & feet.

Does anyone else have similar problems?

    Hi I've been taking ramaprill for just over 3 months, and I have been experiencing joint and muscle pain. My doctor advised me to stop taking it. Last week and I've got to go back and see him this Friday. I'll keep you posted on what he says

      Hi Andrew, Thank you for your reply. I am pretty convinced that it is the Ramipril that caused my joint and muscles problems. I stopped taking it about two to three weeks ago and all my pain has gone with just occasional stiffness in the mornings.

      I will be very interested to hear what your GP says.
