Ramipril

I've just been prescribed Ramipril for high blood pressure.  Has anyone had experience of this and its interaction with alcohol?  I'm hoping to take this opportunity to cut right down again.  I'd lost motivation and hope the requirement to moderate my alcohol consumption because of this drug will motivate me again.  Thanks. H

    Hi h1954, The Drink certainly contributes to your High blood pressure, leading to the need for ramipril. So there is a constant battle in your Body, for control of the Heart. Cutting down the Drink is a great step if you want to move forward to a happier, healthier Life, or indeed not. AL
