Ramipril side effects - sweating...

Has any else had these systems? Just started 2.5mg Ramipril (previously on 1.25mg amounst other drugs, for earlier heart attack, stroke and high blood pressure problems). Started sweating at night especially clammy hands. Is this due to Ramipril? The worrying thing is I am eventually due to go up to 10mg.

I have copd ,and the last 10 years I have had to have continuous use of oxygen in flight ,at a cost of £200 for a flight to Majorca, maybe you felt I'll due to the lack of oxygen in your blood, ask your GP to refer you for an inflight lung function test ,thus will decide if you need supplementary oxygen during flights,

I have been taking Ramipril for a few months 5mg ,my blood pressure is still not under control ,I also have COPD  ,Bronchietis ,and since taking Ramipril I have had a persistent productive cough, finaly I visited the copd nurse and explained about my cough and shortness of breath ,she has suggested it could be that I need to change from Ramipril as this is a well known side effect,I am now waiting for telephone appointment conversation with my GP ,to ask if he will change this medication, as I can't stand this productive cough any longer as it's also making me weak and breathless, I will let you all know how I get on ,fingers crossed,
