Random bruising on legs please give opinions

Hi all,

I’m 25 year old woman, healthy for the most part ..I’ve been experiencing random bruises only on my legs mostly sometimes  thighs for about 3 months. They are painless bruises and do end going away in 2-3 weeks maybe longer 

The first dr I went to said maybe I just bruise easily and if I have no other symptoms not to worry . I was given a blood clotting blood and and blood count, iron 

3 months ago I had my first blood test My iron levels were low (however they have been my whole life)

Blood clotting results were normal 

platelet count was low ( I was told this number changes and doesn’t mean anything)

I am getting a second opinion and full blood test to be sure 

I just want to see if anyone has experienced this
