Random Lip Swelling

Hi everyone. For the last three weeks, about once a week, my lips swell. Every time they've swollen it's been the weekend while I've been having a drink or two (which made me think it was alcohol, but I've had occasions since were I've had alcohol and nothing has happened). I've gone through everything I've had those nights leading up to the swelling, having a bit of each once a day to see if it affects me but so far no swelling. It just seems absolutely random. The doctor has told me to keep a dairy of what I had before the swellings occur and I've done that, but having those things AGAIN hasn't caused the swelling. She has no idea. I'm so confused. I'm scared to eat/drink anything other than plain foods and water. Any advice? Any help?
