Random missed heart beats/flutters 😢

does anyone get missed heart beats on a daily basis even if you aren't feeling anxious? I get these missed heart beats like a thump in my chest randomly each day and sometimes I don't even feel anxious. I'm obsessed it's a heart problem. anyone with this please? I had ecg last week and dr checked my pulse and heart sounds couldn't find anything so I've asked for 24 hour monitor just to put my mind at rest if I can do that.

thank you for reading.

    hey

even when youre not feeling anxious your subconscious mind will still be on it. its always in the back of your mind and so itll be more pronounced.

skipped beats and flutters are totally normal woth anxiety and even when youre not feeling anxious. people get them everyday but they just dont notice them.

i get them a lot but try to push them to the back of mind as much as i can.

when your heart monitor comes back ok you will feel some relief and then when you get them you wont be so scared.

i know its hard but youre going to be fine!

yes! every day. i did the week long monitor so i know i am okay but they still drive me nuts i take 500 mil magnisium every day and found that helps. i wouldnt worry. the monitor test will help put you more at ease when you feel them

Everyone has some missed beats a day, most people don't notice them. They are called ectopic heartbeats.

Try youtube and search for 'are ectopic heart beats dangerous' , and 'the man with 20,000 PVCs' (premature ventricular contractions) - one patent had 20,000 ectopics in one day of monitoring and he was fine, just needed some lifestyle changes.
