Random nighttime panic attacks

I’ve noticed this happens a lot at night. I’ll be sitting watching tv until I start feeling like I’m taking short and shallow breaths and so I start getting scared. I went to my room to lay down and it just comes and goes but it causes this weird feeling in my head like a pressure idk . And if I get up to stand I feel lightheaded ...

Sounds very much like anxiety. For me... Laying down is a bad idea... Because then I solk and it makes it worse. I like to go for a nice drive. Do you take sleeping aids?

Hey honey, how ya doing? Sounds like "good old" anxiety to me. The thing to do is to pay it no heed. I don't ever think that in all my years of suffering anxiety and panic attacks have I ever been able to go for a lay down during one! I have to distract myself by re-focusing my mind and thoughts. Only then, does it pass. Donna xxx
