Random Painful Swelling

Since couple of years i randomly

keep having these painful swelling which last a couple days in any one the fingers in either of my feet. Its totally random, there is no fix finger or toe it happens to, sometimes it happens to my plantar area of the feet as well. Whenever this happens, it always does overnight, the day prior seems completely fine with no pain but suddenly the next morning i find myself in pain of one of my foot finger / foot toe / Plantar area swollen. Its painful (6 on a scale of 10) , it last for max 2-3 days and then the swelling and pain goes away. Cant get a good sleep because of constant pain whole night. While it lasts, even though the swelling remains, usually it does not pain during day time as i am constantly moving or walking, but at night while i rest the pain starts. I feel a pain rush on those swollen finger specially when i get up in the morning from bed. Before it used to randomly happen to any one of my hand fingers too ,but it has not happened to either of my hand fingers since last 2 years. Thankfully now it only happens to my feet. What do you think this is ? Ive tried professional doctor help , they could not help. My friends told me its possible because i am overweight , but then why it used to happen to my hand fingers ? If any of you can help i much appreciate please. Also I'd like to add this if it helps to understand. I've noticed this also happens during the exhibition times where we constantly stand for long hours for 4-5 days. It also occurs a day after i visit the beach and walk barefoot on hot beach sand for couple hours. This both instances have happened more then a couple times so i am sure there's a connection.
