Random words pop into my mind almost all through the day

hi im having a relapse of GAD and ive been back on meds for almost 2 months now but it feels like there is no improvement recently ive been having random words pop into my mind and different thoughts just lead to another feels even worse when im tired or about to sleep . its really making me worry that its something else. can anyone relate or is there any advise?

    yes Random mind pops are common with anxiety. That’s because with anxiety, the brain is sort of overcharged and we get those random words or thoughts. I have had that happen many times and my MRI was perfectly normal.

    when you reduce the anxiety they should slow down or stop.

    The fact that you had a relapse of a Gad is most likely the reason you’re getting the mind pops. I’ve even had past memories popped into my head out of nowhere for no reason. Just try to reduce your level of anxiety and you should feel better. But don’t get stressed out about it because then they will continue. Take care

    I have random words / thoughts in my head most days especially at night I'm unable to get to sleep most nights I also have GAD it's part of the condition I guess and shouldn't try to worry about it

      thanks for your reply i thought i was the only one in this cos i just started experiencing them about a two weeks back and i noticed it become more frequent

    Hello there, i think its normal for us people who are suffering with anxiety to have these type of like constant thinking in a back and forth kind of manner since our brain is hyperactive but not really in a good way since it could also cause some intrusive thoughts. i suggest on just not hyper-focusing about those thoughts and instead, try to do things that could distract you from it keep yourself entertained as much as you can. 😃 just relax as well
