Rash gone but still itching and some pinpoint spots?

It is 13 weeks and the big lesions have pretty much faded away. But I still get itchy at night and I have these tiny little spots the size of a pinpoint. They come up and do not grow any larger.

Are the small spots some sort of leftover?

Hi, I am wondering the same. My rash has suddenly started to look better- you could hardly see it yesterday... But by night time I start itching again and I think some patches start to look a bit redder, plus I still have weird stingy itching which moves around & isn't always where a lesion is actually found! So I'm wondering, is it receding or trying to start back up?! I'm trying to stay positive & think it's on its way out, because I think being stressed/upset makes it worse...guess we'll 'see'?! Sigh!

I have reached the 7 week mark and most of my lesions have also faded. They've basically become flat and seem to disappear into my skin. I have brown spots all over my body now, but I presume its all part of the healing process (I am dark in complexion). Problem is...those brown patches also itch terribly at night ...more especially after a bath. I have no problem during the day but cannot sleep at night without taking an antihistamine to take off the edge and ease the itch. I look forward to the day I return to normal and not worry about itching all the time!! :P

It's weird isn't it? Do you also get phantom itches? Sometimes I feel such a horrid itch i'm sure a new one's come up and there's nothing there! The patches I have are also fading except on my arms, where i'm not sure if they're new, or not... In any case it at least seems to have slowed down, even if I do look a bit like a leopard and have to pop antihistamines all the time!!
