ive had this "rash" for about a month and a half now. its much more noticeable when erect. its concentrated in the center of the head, and has a rough texture. ive been tested for everything, including herpes, and everything came back negative. could this be some sort of rash? picture attached. i havent been to the doctor for this. i just went to a clinic and had all tests done, including for herpes antibodies, which all came back negative. i was thinking it may be some form of PPP, but i dont know why it would just all of a sudden show up. nothing aboit it bothers me, no itching or anything else. its just very unsightly. hoping to get an appointment with a dermatologist. did the doctor say anything about it when you went?

mine doesn't itch or nothing iether but it seems to be worse at different times and it has a slight feeling not lain but irritated feeling I have tried everythingit started after changing to a different body wash but it has never went away

i think that also happened to me. i started using a new body wash, and then shortly after that, i noticed it. might have been a chemical reaction or something. i just want to know how to make it go away and get back to normal.

From the picture I am guessing you are not circumcised? What it looks like in the main is that the head of your penis is lacking natural moisture. What can be described as 'good smegma' helps to keep the head naturally lubricated and looking healthy, if you get your penile hygiene right at the same time.

If you are not circumcised, keep all soaps shower gels, hair shampoos etc from ever getting anywhere near the head of your penis. Before a shower, draw the foreskin as far forward as possible away from the body to prevent dermatological harmful stuff from getting at the head of your penis.

Always wash the head of the penis once you have thoroughly rinsed all the cleaning stuff from your body with water ONLY using the inside of the hand. Then immediately pat the head of the penis dry once you get out of the shower.

Do not use skin creams or moisturisers, or even Baby Oil as a lube on the head of your penis. You could try a small amount of Coconut Oil - as this is a completely natural product - on the head of your penis to see if you can introduce some moisture.

What you describe as the rash could be a warning that you have a skin condition developing, so monitor this in the forthcoming months to see if things worsen. However, if you put all the things in place that I have mentioned, things may sort themselves out anyway.

Should things worsen in the future you would need to think about ALL the things that come into contact with the head of your penis, no mater how briefly. Typical things are lubricants etc on the inside of condoms, if you use these regularly, all the way through to washing powder you use on your underwear ....

thanks for the reply! i am circumsized, so im hoping this is just some form of dryness or allergic reaction. will definitely try the things you mentioned. hoping this clears up on its own without any medical attention.

thank you so much man! took away a lot of my worries! I'm going to the doctor anyways to check up on anything else that may be up with my penis. I was super worried just in case there was something wrong. idk why but i feel like its spreading for me... probably just me over thinking it.
