Raw Manuka Honey

Guys, don't be afraid to put honey on your eyes. I smear it on my lids twice a day and it works like a charm. I'll even leave it on if I have nothing to do for a while. Just make sure that it's raw honey. Preferably Manuka. It's no joke. There are antibiotic and anti-inflammatory qualities, but it doesn't dry your eyes. They even make manuka honey eye drops. So don't look at it like it's such a foreign thing. If you get a little in your eye it stings for a few seconds, but afterwards your eyes feel so refreshed.

Thanks for sharing. What have your symptoms been? I'm worried the honey could clog the glands even further, sigh. I have a fiend that uses it daily as a face mask and she swears by it.

Not sure why my comment was deleted. Maybe because I posted an article talking about a man who cured his Blepharitis with honey? Not sure. Anyway, I have had red and puffy eyelids, dry eyes, and burning tears.  Most of it has been well under control since using manuka honey.  I do it twice a day.  I also do a compress once a night and take fish oil supplements.  But the honey was a game changer.
