Razor bumps or STI/STD?

Posted , 3 users are following.

I noticed that I have these possibly three small, painless bumps between my buttocks. No problems with standing up, walking, or sitting down. No fever, no swollen lymph nodes I was last tested in late June/early July. I have had four partners, 3 male and 1 female, since then. Two encounters, one of them male and the female one, were unprotected. My recent encounter was male, and only oral was unprotected. I did shave not too long ago, so it may be infected hair follicles, but I plan on scheduling and getting tested this week.

Hi dear, I would also recommend you to get tested, it's difficult to diagnose with a picture only. Please be a little more careful in the future, never do anything unprotected with someone, that didn't got tested before your encounter. It's really not worth catching anything, that you have to deal the rest of your life with.

I always ask my partners if they've been tested, but I understand people can lie, so hopefully it's nothing serious. I wish I could've sharpen the images before submitting it.

Don't trust people that easily. Most of them don't care about your health and just want an adventure. I really hope it's nothing bad, maybe really just a reaction to shaving. But definitely be more careful in the future.

OK so this does look alot like Herpes, it's the red ring round the open sore that is the tell tale sign. now even if it is, it's not a huge deal. all this "don't go with anyone before the are tested" stuff is nonsense. in the UK, they do not test for Herpes because it's so common and some people dont even know they have it as they have no symptoms. in the UK Herpes is not part of a standard STI check. it is only diagnosed by swabbing an open sore.

this may come as a surprise, but the only way to stop getting Herpes is to never have sex. condoms don't even prevent Herpes as its the skin to skin contact that spreads it. you can have it for years and never show any symptoms.

go get it looked at, and if it is herpes, give me a private message and I will give you some advice. I havent been diagnosed, although have a health anxiety so at times have been convinced I have it so have researched it to the death. I don't want it, no one does, but it really is just a skin condition. keep your chin up

the thing is the sore isn't open. i put a q-tip up to it and it feels like a bump and no discharge has come out of it. it doesn't burn or sting. i'll just have to get a swab test and check it out.
