Re-circumcision

Posted , 4 users are following.

I'm circumcised, but last year got a bacterial infection which created some sort of psoriasis (dry) issue downstairs. Since then my foreskin became red and definitely tighter with pain. The pain has somewhat gone, but I know have hypersensitivity of the remaining foreskin. I'm also convinced my foreskin as become 'more' flaccid. I now find the skin rolls completely over the head.

Reading up about it, it seems I have secondary phimosis.

Should I be seeking the advice from a urologist and request a re- circumcision?

I wouldnt, I don't think you should have gotten circumcised in the first place as there are other options. you need to get on a steroid cream and that should help. also, stretching the skin through any means necessary will benefit you. if the surgeon has already cut you the chances of you getting cut again increase the chance of painful erections due to tight skin lengthwise- not uour foreskin. most surgeons illicit an erection and cut so the skin back to what will still support your erect penis. if you go back or to another surgeon they might cut a little too much off and you'd be stuck having to stretch your skin still. take my advice, you don't want to go through that again when there is an easier route.

I had the circumcision over twenty years ago due to phimosis or tight foreskin.

What I was getting at is since my issues last year with a yeast infection, the remaining skin has once again become tight and there seems to be more of it.

What exactly will the steroid cream do and what type do you recommend?

okay i understand. any corticosteroids would be helpful, I live in america and that is something you'd have to see a doctor for here but in other countries it might be over the counter. first things first- you need to find out if you still have a yeast infection. after you treat that use the creams and anti-inflammatory meds to take care of any inflamation. skin stretching exercises such as retracting it as far as you can tolerate it ad holding it there for a couple of minutes, several times a day causes the skin to undergo mitosis. mitosis is when your skin grows under pressure or to heal a wound. if you keep up with the exercises and prevent any inflammation your body will eventually loosen that part of your body up. this is simular to how people who gauge their ears. if you do this every day the skin has to become looser and thus solving your issue.

So your previous circumcision was a partial circumcision or a low/loose cut one to leave you more foreskin? I was under impression you don't get enough foreskin to cover back (all or part of) your glans after circumcision unless it was a partial type operation, or you performed foreskin restoration activities since your circumcision.
