about 2 weeks ago I had a huge coughing fit from smoking, It was heavy coughing where i couldn't catch my breath to the point I felt I almost puked. At the time I had on a Compression belt I was wearing around my lower back for an injury I have been visiting a chiropractor about. Since, I have been getting random light headed and dizzy spells where I feel extremely zoned out almost like I am dreaming. I have a weird pain in the left side of my chest when I touch it as well which I noticed also after the coughing event. I have been feeling extremely tired and fatigued since as well, and I have been getting 8-10 hours of sleep.

Last week smoking brought on another coughing. the next day I had to leave work because of a dizzy spell that got so bad, I felt like i couldn't catch my breath and I was close to passing out, sitting down and deep breathing didn't help this. I went to the hospital after what I believe was a panic attack that made the situation worse, EKG/blood/ and chest x ray tests were done all inconclusive of a serious issue. I have still been getting all the symptoms of fatigue, chest pain, and regular dizzy spells. My question is could this coughing fit have been the cause of these symptoms, has anyone else ever experienced something similar?

Have the same symptoms. Chest pain and shortness of breath is due to acidity. Regarding dizziness, you also might wanna consider having your jaw checked by a tmj specialist. I've been having dizzy spells and sometimes i feel like im just dreaming for almost 2 years, been to many specialist but still they coudnt tell what it is. Until i got my jaw x-rayed, found out that i have TMJ thats causing all this symptoms.

Try to google Sam Muslin from LA.
