hi, ive had this appear randomly about 4 times now every 9 months or so. when i go to the doctors they say its a bacterial infection and give me creams/antibiotics to clear it up which work. but my question is what is it? why does it just randomly come, could it be something more?

the pic on your nose looks painful. see your doctor to take s biopsy id it and treat it. it looks infected. i have no idea how it started on your nose. we are not doctors here therefore the question submitted is something you can look up on this site or internet. do your own research and become your own advocate. time to learn about health issue to better manage your own health..

Its most probably a staph infection. The Staph bacteria is on everyones skin but some people are more prone to break outs than others. If this is recurring I would ask for some swabs to be done to identify the bug.
Make sure you wash your hands frequently.
