    Hi,

Yes it's a standard letter and is always sent out unless you've given a mobile number then it's usually a text message. Bear in mind that, that letter was more than likely sent about 1 week ago so a decision may have been made now. You could ring them and they'll tell you if it has been made.

Hi Denise yes that was sent in 26/6 so should hear something this week, fingers crissed this time that I get the right award

Indeed. Please also bear in mind that PIP isn't about a diagnosis it's about how your conditions affect you daily. Did you send in evidence to support you claim? Please do let us know the outcome. Good luck.

Yes I took evidence to rtf and was really in a bad state, I couldn't breath, could not grip anything and was wheel chair bound, yes I gave reports from Physio and report of social care who have put lots of items in home to help me, yes they could see my condition was bad in the day, yes I will let you know out come, also I've got my appeal in 18/7 from my first assessment to which I was awarded 10 points for mobility indefinite and 6 points care so I'm looking hopefully for two points for both, I have copd, emphysema, cervical spinosis, limbs sounosis, drop foot and loss of use of hands pluss thyroidism and diabities just to mention a few

You're waiting for your Tribunal and you still reported the changes? Quite a strange choice if i'm honest. Well goodluck and hope the decision goes in your favour smile

Hi Chris. Just seen Your Post. I am awaiting my tribunal hearing. And like you receive a letter not long after the HMCTS said my case would be heard. From DWP to say they would make decision soon as they had all info they required. I thought this odd. So rang DWP and was I formed they had no idea why I had been sent this letter. There was nothing on the system and the lady said she would havevto speak to her supervisor. And they would contact mebwith a reason why this had been sent. As i heard nothing a month later. I sent this to the HMCTS. Explaining i had no idea what was going on. Someone from HMCTS have today rang me. To say tge next tribunal hearing in my area is in September. And shes asking that i am sent a date for this asap. She is also submitting the letters I sent as more evidence. As seems DWP have madeva boob. Why don't you ring DWP and ask why they sent you thus letter. As I was told once it's with the HMCTS. DWP no longer contact you to say they'll make any decision. As they obviously won't. As it will be decided at your tribunal hearing. But good luck with everything.

Chris has his Tribunal date in July but he reported a worsening of his condition so had another f2f assessment. Well that's what i read it as anyway.

Yes that's correct, I've been waiting 3 months for this f2f so was not cancelling tribunal untill I get a decision

Hi Denise. I just can't work out why Chris did this. But possibly won't get a decision as tribunal already going ahead.

Yes Bobby that's my thoughts too. I didn't think it was possible to report changes when waiting for a Tribunal as it could interact with the Tribunal decision.

Well hope it all goes well for Chris. But thats what i thought .

So now you all know that you can report new conditions while awaiting appeal,, lots of things had happened to me since my first award, so I had to report it to pip other wise I couldn't use new condition in first appeal

Even though in doing this doesn't make any sense at all because you could be given a higher award at the Tribunal, which would make reporting the changes a waste of time. Also if you're given a higher rate after reproting those changes and Tribunal award you a lower rate then which one would be your award? Totally confused and doesn't make any sense. However, i wish you all the luck in getting a decision that's right for you.

Hi Denise if I get highrr award then I cancel tribunal, if I don't get increase then I'll keep tribunal

I'll be totally honest i've never ever heard of this happening before.

Yes agree but when I contacted pip just to tell them I have a seizure, it was them that made it a new claim, at least they know all new conditions so I can use everything in tribunal if nessasary
