Reaction to Lansoprazole and Omeprazole. Should I try Pantoprazole?

Hi, just been diagnosed with gastritis, gastroparesis and oesophagitis. In short, stomach not emptying properly and erosion on oesophagus and stomach with a gastric ulcer.

Been prescribed Lansoprazole but last time I had it my tongue was lacerated after one pill. Omeprazole made my tongue dry and furry for a long time after I stopped using it. I'm currently on Ranitidine.

Don't know whether to try Pantoprozine as scared of another tongue reaction. Anyone had experience of this?

Thanks

Haven't had experience of this drug, but will be interested in the replies. I too have had many bad reactions to the other ppis. My doctor told me they are much of a muchness, so safer to stick to hc2 receptors.

Thanks. Really worried to have the reactions again as it was really painful. Might just stick with ranitidine for time being and see if that, along with diet helps.

I have had pantoprozine I didn't have any problems with my tongue or mouth but after 4days on them had pains in my legs. I read on line they can do that.
