Reactions to amiodarone and Bosvate (Bisoprolol fumarate

I had severe reaction to amiodarone about 18 months ago after one day of taking amiodarone and had to stop immediately but it affected my skin, at one stage skin peeling of hands and my thinking was badly affected, even after stopping taking them it took weeks for the reaction to them to go.  I have just been prescribed Bosvate for my AF and when I looked up this drug it is another which seems to be similarly made by chemical structure and am scared because it is chemical there may be a similar reaction,  to it, would appreciate any advice.  I have been using Metoprolol CR 47.5 which is manufactured totally differently ie no chemical symbols.

I had to take that drug once to go through surgery. I did not have a reaction but my doctor told me it can severely affect the lungs and should not  be on it for any length of time.

I think if I was offered Amiodarone  I'd be scared to take it.  Twenty years ago when I was in my early forties I asked if I could have the drug to control the SVT and Ectopics that I had way back then.  The cardiologist said 'no' I couldn't have it due to the very serious side effects to the lungs and that they only give it to older/elderly people.  So, I was put on Sotalol instead which worked a treat (so to speak) for many years until I got AF. So, now I take Bisoprolol 10mg at night because it makes me feel sleepy also, Warfarin.

Problem was they could not do the procedure on my kidneys as fib acted up so given for the procedure. never again..I had my lungs checked since then and all is fine. I do not know what Bosvate is. I am on metroprolol also. Now that I had the ablation will see what happens. I did take one antirhythmic drug Multaq that did not work. I was told these drugs eventually lose their effectiveness and could damage lower chambers. Its hard to know what to do and who to believe.Drs. have their own ideas I suppose from their experience.. training and discipline. Everybody reacts differently. one size does not fit all. why so difficult to know what to do.
