Reactions to inflammation in the body?

Hi,

my son, who has Asbergers syndrome always had big inflammatory spots in his face and eslewhere on his body. Then he went on an anti-candida diet and things cleared up very nicely. I am afraid he went on a sugar eating spree after this diet and now he seems to be sensitive to all sorts and is starting to have a runny and red nose, sore throat but most important his skin condition is returning. |does anyone know how to handle this? Should he still have a gluten, diary-free, sugar diet and also avoid gluten (again)?

thanks

Angelika

I'm pretty sure you didn't mean to post this in the osteoarthritis forum, which is not at all related. The problem appears to be one for a board certified dermatologist.

That said, I don't see how sugar or yeast can cause inflammatory marks on the skin. Perhaps the clearing was coincidental. A dermatologist should be able to zero in on the cause.

it could be a lot of things. Ak the dr to help u sort this out.

even to tak a biopsy of som skin may help. He may be having an allergy response as well.

    Cheers

The reason I posted it here was because of the inflammation, which is not only on his skin but effects his eyes, inside of the nose, throat etc and could possibly effect his joints? I am wondering why he reacts to violently and to what and you are right he needs help from the doctor, he certainly needs an allergy test.

    thanks

Can u give the dr office a call? It's could be allergies and as sky suggested a allergic reaction to meds.  The symptoms u describe are exactly what happens to me from a med reaction.

Hi and thanks for your replies,

my son is not on any medication. As to regards to an allergy test his doctor prefers to describe anti-inflammatories (which he does not want to take) instead of agreeing to give him an allergy test.
