Really awful taste for hours after

I've been taking Venlafaxine for quite a bit and now this part is just really getting to me. I don't know if anyone will relate because I have this experience when I burp - it brings the taste up. Now, that sounds crazy - you're probably thinking 'So just don't burp'. But I have a digestive issue and basically, even with tolerance pills, lots of foods create air in my stomach and it results in me burping often.

It could be seven hours after I took venlafaxine, and still when I burp, the taste comes back each time! I feel on the verge of vomiting every time! Last night I thought of a great idea and it really worked. Each time I burped, I held my nose and that way I didn't experience the pill's aftertaste. But I wish the aftertaste wouldn't exist to begin with! Anyone else have this awful, horrible, lingering aftertaste from Venlafaxine?
