i have had anxiety on and off for 15 years and it only gets better for a couple of years and comes back really bad. i have had every test going for the heart including 4 years ago i got an echo from the cardiologist. i am always thinking im going to die, too scared to go to sleep. the missed heart beats skipped beats are the worst its like a rollercoaster in my chest and i feel quite breathless. i am getting quite dizzy all the time as well and its like my body stops for a second. i am not sleeping well at night and i have university, work and 3 kids to look after. im 30 and guess i just need someone to say they have exlerienced this and it is anxiety. thank you

sounds like a clear-cut case of classic anxiety. You have all the symptoms of that. Your heart is going to be fine. The reason people worry about their heart when they have anxiety is because during anxiety, the brain sends out adrenaline which can speed up the heart rate, caused skipped beats, cause dizziness, or feeling of shortness of breath, and many other symptoms. None of the symptoms are serious or dangerous when you have anxiety. although they feel scary.
One thing that makes the symptoms worse is when we get really scared and anxious about them. Because when we do that, we are telling the brain that something is wrong, so the brain sends out more adrenaline!
What I had to finally do is to let go. I had to allow the symptoms to be there without freaking out.
Some therapist even tell you to talk to the symptoms in a casual way such as" I know you are there dizziness, stay as long as you like but I don’t have time for you right now."or something on that order. If you consistently do that in a relaxed manner, the symptoms will eventually subside.let the symptoms ride out .
for The fast heart rate or skipped beats, one thing that will slow it down is proper breathing that you can find on YouTube. I listen to the one that’s called dont panic. my heart rate goes back to normal after this.
ITS definitely anxiety!hopefully you will calm down just knowing that.
