we can all relate to what you are feeling. Are you on an AD kev?
If so are you having regular med reviews? You have done so well in managing to get to work. The fatigue can be crippling and it's only now that I am well into recovery, can I manage to go out to the shops. I'm always desperate to get back home if I'm out longer than a couple of hours. This may be the same for you, if your in early recovery. I think our bodies get very run down when our brains are unwell. Do you have a static job? If not it may be worth taking a little time off, until you feel a little more energised. What has your doc recommended for you kev?
The correct AD or dosage is also essential for your recovery.
Feel for you as i understand exactly how you feel.
god bless x

It is very hard to cope especially if you have to work when you suffer from depression. Are you on any meds and/or counselling? Is it helping? If not maybe you need to go back and try and a different ad or type of counselling?
Does your employer know? if they do they have to make 'reasonable adjustments' for you as they have a duty under Health and Safety Law. I think this only applies if you have been there for 2 or more years though. I don't know how long you have worked there so it may not apply.
I wish I had some answers for you love but I don't. Sending you a big hug. Bev xx

just as there are many sufferers so there are many reasons for each of us succumbing and they will be different for each of us just as we are different from each other.
If you haven't sought medical advice yet go first to your GP but sufferers need an expert in the mental health field so ask for a referral to a psychologist possibly based at your local Health Centre. I have actually moved on to psychiatric help but your assessment should pin point what help would be best for you.
GPs as jacks of all trades may rely on prescribing medication which may or may not help as in my case but a talking regime did.
your symptoms are classic which many many people recognise and help is available to help sort them out. You may need to be patient (excuse the pun) waiting for an appointment but it will be worth it and will help.
if you are on medication there are so many you may need to go back to your GP to ask for an alternative but there should be one for you. It's just finding it is the problem in the meantime. It maybe as with me that yo need a combination of medication and talking therapy and a referral will help
Just as there are many sufferers of wat Churchill called the "Black Dog" that followed him everywhere (and look at what he achieved) there are many and various reasons for it happening to each sufferer and our stories will ll be different.
