    Hi Michelle,

yes i do but my nose also gets totally stuffed up at night! More recently i feel like ive got too much mucous too. Menopause can cause allergies to flare or be more pronounced! I read that here in the menopause symptom post! So many strange things happen with our bodies! I hope it doesnt last too long for you! 🌺

    Ladies,

The dryness of mucus membranes is often discussed during menopause.  Generally it is associated with a lack of estradiol.   it can effect the mucous membranes of your nose, mouth, and of course the vagina.  And our eyes are also on the list of things that become dry.

    Yeepee.....isn't meno fun????

I've not heard of it but that doesn't mean anything? Could you give more detail?  Maybe take a swab of cocnut oil and schmeer it around?

Great that you shared this information!  I love to do things naturally, before resorting to pharms.

Yes. My sinuses and nose get stuffed up and dry. I get a lot of sinus headaches from this. I don't have much problem with a dry mouth but sure do have problems with dry eyes. Not all the time but it seems like for several days to a week I'll have really dry eyes, especially when I'm sleeping. I wake up and I have a hard time opening my eyes....it's like my eyelids are stuck to my eyeballs and I have to force them open. Then it gets better for a while and then happens again.

This makes a lot of sense now. I was diagnosed with dry eye back in may but for the last 2 or 3 months I have been getting very dry everywhere as well...I have been having very stuffy nose at night and a very dry throat as well, my dr. Just said that I have allergies but I have never had allergies before...

    Hi Michelle.

Usually the dryness is, if you lubricate the nasal mucosa with a small piece of butter. Men also sometimes dryness.
