Really need some re-assurance on Sert side effects!!

Posted , 5 users are following.

Really struggling with side-effects of Sert. Have been on 50mg for just over 3 weeks now. Been back to docs today and been prescribed Beta Blockers to calm my anxiety and panic attacks to give Sert a chance to kick in. Still having really anxious moments, and thoughts in my head that don't represent how I feel. Can anyone else relate to this? It's really unsettling.

My side effects 2 time around were awful

I’m absolutely great now but it took longer than I expected

My anxiety went through the roof and for some reason I also suffered terribly with cramps and diarrhoea

It took 3 months to feel normal again

I could honestly take on the world now

    So hang in there xx

    Yes Murray,

I’m still going through the side affects of .Sertraline.

Yestetday was good all in all, However ,today nervous, Axiours, feeling crab, pardon the pun.

I keep hoping it’s going to get better coming up to a month now.

We all know how you feel Murray, we’ve all been through it , or going through it one way or the other.

Where hang on in there together.

    Love Gods blessing🙏

I felt awful at 3 weeks, I'm 5weeks now and feel on the up. Can take 8 weeks to have any effect.

I have kept a sertraline diary on here if you want to follow my progress and compare it to yours.....

    Hang in there!

Hi popwop, How many milo grams are you on.

Also do you take anything to help you sleep at night, Sertraline suppose to cause insomnia.

I’m concerned about stopping my sleeping tablets and not being able to sleep.. Any advice would be much appreciate it. God bless
