Has anyone else experienced a much more noticeable heart beat with hormone changes!? i can feel my heart beat in my chest much more than i could before and i feel like i can feel my pulse all over my body at times. especially in my legs and feet!? like i can feel the blood pumping through my arteries in my feet and ankles right now and it is so unsettling! im tempted to go to a and e to get it checked out but ive been so many times in the last few months and all the tests they have done so far have all come back normal. dont knos what to do!? struggling with the idea that i just have to live with these horrible symptoms. my doctor had referred me to have a 24 hour heart monitor as i keep getting hesrt palpatations and feel like my heart is sensitive to sudden stress and exercise. Are these symptoms others have experienced??? any advice and personal experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Believe it or not, I was referred to see a cardiologist because of the same problem. Saw him and ended up with what I usually do - the "you a crazy, woman" type of look. They were considering monitoring me with a Zio patch but the doc said he doesn't think there is a need!

I feel my heart beat a lot. Sometimes I feel it beat everywhere! My pulse varies a lot too. I feel my blood gushing in my vessels in my feet, ankles. It is awful! I don't know what to do. I have so many other crazy symptoms that I don't know where to start! I am sorry you feel that- I know the feeling! It is crazy:( Obviously I cannot say 100% it is hormones, but I have the same and cardiology said- u crazy!

thank you so much for your reply! this is exactly what i am experiencing! my pulse varies so much too one minute it will be 76 then few min later its 88 or something! when i walk up the stairs it goes above 100 everytime. I feel that feeling in my feet and ankles and it is driving me mad really worrying! I read on a website today that if your pulse is less in your feet then it could be a sign of artery problems but my pulse is exactly the same in feet and neck - which has slightly reassured me. I know how u feel i think my doctors think im crazy ( my partner and family definitely think i am) my mum thinks i need to see a psychologist! but i really dont think that is going to help me. until i know it is not a serious medical condition i will always feel on edge about it all! ive experienced pretty much every perimenopause symptom but im only 33! my mum went through menopause at 39 and my aunty and grandma both in early 40s so its clearly in my genes! ive barely been to work in 6 months because of it all and i feel so bad for my kids at the moment and my partner! I am not a very nice or happy person! such a terrible situation!

i just read your other post about 'im crazy or must be dying' this is how i feel! ive had so many scans and tests! ive had a brain mri and a pelvic mri, a ct scan of my abdomen, ultrasounds of pelvic area and for swollen lymph nodes in groin (apparently benign) so they say nothing to worry about. ive had numerous ecgs and so many blood tests, been to see ENT doctor who diagnosed me with allergic rhinitis - which he said is probably contributing to my shortness of breath - given me a nasal spray. ive had 2 chest xrays and an xray of my shin coz my bones and joints were so painful - ive been taking supplements, pro biotics, apple cider vinegar, aloe vera juice, herbal teas . definitely eased off some of the painful symptoms. my oestrogen levels are low but have to have hormone tests repeated in a few weeks at the correct time in my cycle before they can refer me to an endocrinologist - who will look into the hormone imbalance...

I feel for you!My family also things I am nuts! My next stop was going to be ENT! Not sure if I should do it- I still feel they might discover something scary because all of this just doesn't feel normal! My pulse varies between 58 and 108. Walking or up stairs 113-128. I stopped drinking coffee, take vit, supplements here and there.....

I am new to 40 years old, but my symptoms have been on and off for a long time starting around 34- 35. I have 1 ovary only which they say is not a problem- whatever, and my mom was done with periods at 45. I still doubt my sanity sometimes, but those symptoms are no joke! 😕 Just saw my Gyn, the routine yearly exam and dared to share some symptoms.... got the same feedback! It is so depressing. I am exhausted!

Yes! However I do have heart issues but they've gotten so much worse.. In Dec I was rushed to the hospital by ambulance bc I passed out. My blood pressure was off the charts, my heart rate was in the 150s and my ekg was bad, they thought I was having a heart attack. Blood tests every 4 hours checked out ok. I was sent home on a holter monitor for 14 days and its turned out not so good. My cardiologist is holding off on a pacemaker bc I'm having really bad eye issues, bulging in one eye, eye lids stay swollen, pain behind them, saw an eye specialist and I definitely have nerve damage in my left eye so she sent me for a CT scan, find out the results next week. She thinks its possibly Graves disease, which can also cause heart issues. It took an ER visit to get my GP to listen to me. I've been complaining of every symptom that Graves has and his answers were that I needed to see a psychiatrist or its just meno. My next referral demand will be to an endocrinologist. My thyroid test he says is normal but its on the low side at 1.5.. according to the eye doc there's more than just a blood test that can be done and just bc the blood test is "normal" doesn't mean it is. Here's my heart monitor results.. quite scary. And I'm already on meds for it..
