I don't have exactly the same but I'm having trouble with my bowels. I constantly feel bloated and constipated. I cosntslty have like an ache and a anxious sick feeling in the pit of my stomach. I'm currently under going tests but not had a colonoscopy which I actually want!
I know their is a strong relation between the gut and mind but it's always best to get checked out and if you've been given an colonoscopy so quick is definitely take it!
Do you mind asking how old you are?

I had a ovarian cancer scare with my symptoms and I had to go see a gyna for a Transvaginal. I felt so much better after it but was so scared about it when I had it booked. I just wanted it over with. It came back all clear.
A lot of people beg for things lien being referred to professionals and don't get it so jist try and relax and just think 'let's get it done!'

A couple of years ago i had to have an endoscopy done, I was also very scared but i was given the option to be sedated and everything went smooth, just wondering if that is an option for you.

First, BREATHE! Do you have a family history of colon cancer? If not, you are way too young for it to even be an issue, though ruling things out is always good.
Secondly, your anxiety is running your life. Time to turn that around. Are you doing any therapy to deal with your anxiety? Cognitive behavior therapy is very good for this. If you can't get into therapy soon, there are tons of self-help opportunities online. Just do a web search for cognitive behavior therapy self help, or even dialectical behavior therapy. Also look into mindfulness meditation. A search for that will turn up tons of guided meditations online. Meditation is one of the most healing and beneficial things you can do!
Finally, you have got to realize that all your anxiety is about thoughts, your thoughts about the past, fears about the future, the what-if's and the if only's that are our ruminating. All that thinking leads to more fear and the vicious cycle. The thing is, you have a choice. You can choose to have those thoughts or not. At first it is hard, because we are addicted to thinkiing. Ever heard the phrase "my thoughts are running away with me?" That's because thinking is like an entity inside of us, and it can be tamed. But, you have WANT TO. You are not at the mercy of your life. You can take control. Ever known someone who has had a lot of tragedy in their lives and yet they seem to be the most optimistic, happy person you've ever known? Well, that is because that person copes with life's situations in a healthier way. And you can learn that, too, but again, you have to WANT to. You need to give up the victim narative (so common in people with anxiety, not that you've said anything to suggest that). Give up the "why me?"
Our past is just a story, really. And the future is unpredictable, out of our control, and it is healthier for us to accept that and just move on. Spending time thinking about the past and future, especially when the thoughts are troubling, is not at all productive and if anything harmful.
So, the first step is just noticing, catching yourself when you begin to have those thoughts. That's all; just notice, develop awareness. Then take some deep breathes, long and deep, paying attention to the feeling of the breath entering your nostrils, expanding your belly, leaving your lips. Nudge yourself back to the breath when the thoughts try to start up again.
This is the beginning. There is absolutely no reason you cannot learn to tame your active mind. Your mind might be saying "yes, but..." but that is just the mind trying to resist change.

I had colonoscopy, its not too bad and its quick procedure so dont worry. I am going for gastroscopy in January to exclude Celiac and IBD, they can we both triggered by emotional stress. I am also skinny despite eating like a horse..I do not think I have anything like a cancer I know it was triggered when my anxiety started, I had terrible butterflies in my stomach for 24/7 and it just messed up my stomach. Hope it helps
