Really weird feeling

hi,

I suffer from anxiety and today I had this very very strange and horrible feeling. I was just walking down the road, as normal and all of a sudden I got this like rush and my head felt very weird, almost like dizzy, and I felt like I was in some kind of endrenalin rush. It was soooo terrifying and lasted about 10 seconds...

I’ve never experienced anything like this before and I don’t know where it came from, I was walking with my child and he was running along the pavement and I was abit scared he was going to run into the road, so I shouted and told him to come back. Then I carried on walking and then it happened, is this maybe a reason why?

It is very hard to explain and it was a horrible feeling and it lasted only a bit and then I went back to feeling normal, it was very scary!

Can anyone help, thank you.

Sounds like an adrenaline rush. When there is potential danger, the brain “prepares us for “battle “.   The blood rushes to the important organs such as the brain and heart so that we can function in an emergency. That is most likely what happened.

Everyone should have a  yearly check up with their doctor anyway.  If it keeps happening schedule a visit with your doctor. Hope you feel better

I get that feeling for the littlest things. I know exactly what you're talking about! An adrenaline rush can definitely make a dizzy feeling. Probably was just your fight or flight response! i wouldnt worry about it especially since you're good now. Even IF it happens again it most likely will be due to the fact you're thinking about it, thats how anxiety gets ya
