Really worried :(

Hi I'm 25 Female I posted a few weeks ago about my left breast being tender to touch, when I went to the doctor she examined me and said and said she isn't worried as everything feels normal and normally you don't have pain with bc, but I have bad health anxiety and if I'm not worrying about one thing it's another constantly worrying, I'm on my period now and my both breast are sore which is understandable and it hasn't felt as tender.

I read seen something online bout bc and it said something about veins in your breast and in my left breast I have noticed that my veins are really noticeable compared to my other breast,

I'm on omeprazole for acid in my stomach but I have noticed that when I'm anxious or stressed my pains are worse than normal so that not helping me at the moment from morning to night I worry all the time that I'm scared to plan anything because I have convinced my self I'm going to die sad

Any help or advice would be great right now

The only thing that I can advise you is to go back to your doctor and explain your fears, tell him how you feel and explain the changes in your breasts,  it is a good thing that yr getting pain with them, ( as I know that with breast cancer lumps u don't get pain.  ) maybe there's something that yr doctor can give you for your nerves,  I know that it's easy to say not to panic, but you do. Please go back to your doctor. If you need to talk to me on here please do.  Liz

      Hi Liz

I haven't been to my doctor yet as I haven't had an appointment yet getting one on Monday, I got my period and both my breasts were sore so i was happy, when I stopped I had noticed the pain wasn't really there but they both felt very lumpy and I noticed that I had hardening in my right breast at the top and similar on my left so now I'm panicking again because I just read about if you notice any hardening it's a sign I'm making my self over thinking now they are both sore I'm stressing my self out x

I know that it's easy to say but please try and stop panicking, back last year my mam was very ill. ( she had breast cancer 5yrs prev. ) and was in hospital last April may, I was stayin with her, I knew the signs of breast cancer etc, well I found 2 large lumps in my right breast, very painful etc.  Went and saw a locum g.p.And was referred to our local hospital. Had a mamogram ultrasound scan, and was told that they were cysts,  the specialist told me that with painful lumps ( cysts) it is a good sign.  So seeing as you've just had yr period it is prob hormonal. Go back and tell yr g.p. U just had yr period and about the hardening in yr breasts. And also tell him/her that your very worried.  If you need to talk please Message me.

Omg I do the same damn thing!! Why do we do this to ourselves?? I have terrible health anxiety and my boobs are a source of constant fear for me. They're large, lumpy, veiny, get red, and have dimples. All of this to small degrees. I've been examined and my doctor said its normal. My veins are very prominent and always have been. That has never worried me. I am very light skinned. Are you light skinned? Sorry you're stressed! Just wanted you to know you're not alone!
