Reassurance please

Hi all I'm still very panicky and need some assurance please

My symptoms are cold sweats and dizziness after activity of any kind, pain in armpit (like stabbing /stinging pains) and ache in shoulder both in left arm, I have had 4 ecg"s all fine, a chest xray fine (heart not enlarged) but I'm still convinced it's some form of heart disease, I have to wait another two weeks for a echocardiagram and that seems like forever and my anxiety is through the roof, the arm pain is consistent pretty much most of time

Any advice and help appreciated

Jon

    Helllo,

First let me say I am not a doctor.

Sometimes there are 2 or more entities present.  You could have a cardiac problem, which you doctor seems to be ruling out. But it also possible you have an orthopedic or neurological problem.Don't continue to suffer. I would suggest you see an orthopedist for your shoulder and arm pain.

I would be anxious too if I had continual pain.

Hey jon its true that ur symtoms are confusing, i get similar ones but thats only when i start running/walking with the fear that im gonna get tired and something bad is gonna happen. To reassure ur self go do blood tests ask your parents were u born with any heart diseases and do an ecg. If all of these come out fine then erase it out of your head. You wont believe how much ur thoughts impact ur physical feeling. I used to wake up with massive fatigue( made a post about it couple days ago) but since ive convinced myself that everything is fine and started using magnesium ans b6 everything is muuch better. Check with ur doctor if he suscpects that u have vitamim D deficiency. Good luck keep us informed!

I had the same thing after years of them blaming my anxiety they did a echocardiagram and find out I have severe Mitral Valve regurgitation. That's when I started having heart failure they had to do open heart surgery to repair my valve but if there is something wrong you are getting the right test good luck to you and God bless!

Ty mercia. I heard a angiogram was more accurate than a echo so if comes back normal I'll still worry about it unless angiogram lol how much and how reliable is an echocardiagram?

Pretty good they check for a couple of things. If there is something wrong I hope they find it through this.

We are not Doctors or Specialists here and given that I would always talk to your GP.

You are waiting for more test so I would feel your GP has all in hand.

Your GP is in partnership with you with regard your health concerns, let him work on your concerns

    We are always around
