Recent EPI diagnosis

About two weeks ago I was recently diagnosed with EPI and was prescribed PERT therapy to alleviate horrible diarrhea and gas symptoms. So, I've been on Zenpep now for that amount of time and had a normal bowel movement two days ago. But my relief was short-lived because for the next two nights I've had really loose stools as well as embarassing fecal incontinence. I have type 2 diabetes so wondering if that is related to this terrible diarrhea. Also wondering how long does it take for my stools to firm up again and urgency to resolve?
