Recent General Herpes diagnosis and severe itching!

Hey Guys,
I was diagnosed with genital herpes a few months ago, although i suspect I've had it for almost a year. I caught it from my last bf who failed to tell me he had it because he "Didn't think you could pass it on if you weren't having an outbreak" safe to say I've been pretty angry about it since and we are no longer together! I didn't get the initial big outbreak (maybe why i didn't realise for so long!) or the flu like symptoms and i guess I'm pretty lucky because i only get 1 or 2 sores with an outbreak so in the world of GH, I'm not doing too terribly! My current issue though, is the itching, i am literally itchy 24/7 and i have no idea how to make it stop! I've tried Tea Tree Oil, Coconut Oil, Lysine and even anti viral medication from my GP and while all of that helps to heal the sores and the outbreaks, it doesn't stop the 24/7 itching.
Has anyone else suffered with intense itching and have any medicinal or home remedies? Any advice at all is better than nothing! I am struggling to fall asleep and even just relax with the itching and I'm starting to get pretty desperate.
Thank you!

i've heard that ketchup works really well for cold sores so maybe you can try it down there. no harm.

I get the itching mainly between my bum cheeks and at the very bottom of my labia.

so i am not sure, but i have been getting back to back yeast infections after taking the antivirals.
tons of itching if you can imagine, so to help me, i have been soaking in 1 cup of apple cider vinegar with the salt bath bubble bath. it has truly reduced the itching. i also was giving fluconzole (yeast infection medicine. that didnt really help that much. after the bath i put coconut oil in that are to prevent any drying.
i also heard lavender oil helps. never tried that though.

I use coconut oil and tea tree oil and neither seems to help the itching! I'm starting to wonder if its something else on top of the herpes (like thrush or a yeast infection) as it's just 24/7 itchy even when there's no sores or outbreaks! my doctor has just put me on daily anti viral meds so i'll see if that helps curb the itching.
