Recent trapeziectomy op

hi, i had the op oct 15th this year. my thumb is still numb down one side and constant pins & needles i had stitches and cast off monday and surgeon wanted to replaster but agreed to splint as its my dominant hand and i live alone and shileding im finding it even more painful since the cast is off and my wrist locks and is very painful to move my wrist and unlock it i start physio next week, i know it takes time but is the pins and needles and wrist locking normal? thanks
