Recently diagnosed but no follow up...

Hi all,

I’m in the UK and recently diagnosed when getting a colposcopy. My gynaecologist wrote to my GP and got the steroid cream but would I be expected to have any follow up with a specialist? I’ve lost most of my inner labia and my clitoris is quite exposed and  I commonly get bad UTIs. The itching has all but gone though I do get a very sore anus; always thought it was piles but could it be LS too?

I’ve all but given up sugar anyway so think this has helped.

I’ve found this forum so helpful so thanks to all of you!

Hi Sally am also in the UK and was diagnosed three years ago after a biopsy. I went to see my GP about three weeks ago - the first time in three years. No regular follow up it's up to me to do so. I was initially treated for piles and nothing helped. But after my diagnosis I never took prescribed meds just started to use Emuaid - a miracle until it stopped working recently. So I now use oregano oil mixed with coconut oil - all is calm at the moment. I take D3; Curcumin with peperine; probiotic; liquid magnesium and Liverel to support good liver function. - all these are aimed at supporting the immune system. And if you can try drinking cider vinger (with the Mother Apple) with warm water twice a day. Diet is important so try eliminating certain food stuffs as Women on this forum have suggested - but not all at once otherwise you won't know what's helping or not. Fortunately my vulva, vagina and clitoris not radically affected and that's why I take each day at a time and capitalise on feeling good.

    I wish you luck.
