Recently diagnosed- recovery time.

Hello all. I've recently had a diagnosis of D/D after a hospital admission and cannot believe how tired and " out of sorts" I feel. Is this normal and how long can I expect to feel like this? I am presently off work as I do not have the energy to do a great deal.

I've been reading through various  posts and have to say the information is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks for your really helpful comments.  I hadn't thought it might be something to do with a possible food intolerance.  Haven't had any flare ups for a while, but it's the tiredness that is getting me down.  I haven't so far been given fybergel although I can see from reading the various posts, a lot of DD patients do take this.  I'm guessing it's helpful.  Susan - hope your daugher's wedding goes well and you also feel really well on the day.  I have my youngest son's engagemet party next weekend so am keeping my fingers crossed I can stay awake for it!
