Hello I really hope someone on this Forum can help me... in June of 2017 on a Saturday  I was in a car accident (Not my fault) I was taken to the ER cause I was hurt the day after my accident I started having pain at the base of my scull... my mom who’s a nurse said it was probably Whiplash I went to the doctor the following Tuesday I went to the doctor and he did a routine exam and said I probably had soreness and whiplash... months past and I still have pain in my neck reading google (Which isn’t my friend) Said the effects of Whiplash can last months... I go to the Doctor and he does X-rays all of which show nothing so he sends me for a MRI of my neck... I get that done it is revealed I have Arthritis or DDD in my C5 C6 and C7 (I think) I don’t really  understand the medial terms) as he says in my neck... he recommended Injections in my neck for the pain UHHHH No!!! So I have dealing with my pain but I have noticed some new symptoms

•Lower back pain that makes me almost slump over when I walk till I can walk enough to stand up straight Neck pain

•Pain in my neck (Obviously)

•Pain in shoulders

•Pain in Arms

•But the scariest one is tingling in my face and almost feels like the right side of my face goes numb

• I also get pain In my forehead and like a throbbing sensation in the side of my head

Did have a Head MRI in April of last year due to headaches all came back normal....

Can anyone tell me if they have had any of these symptoms or is it something more serious I currently don’t have insurance so as much as I want to i can’t rush out to the doctor

I have ddd which is a result of thousands of hours of high driving.

But the difference is 'lve had the failed ops and every injection possible including the very painful epidural. If l was you from experience l would see a chiropractor who click the disc out and then click them back into the correct position especially when you were involved in an accident and it could just be that.Hope this helps.Dean.

    Hi

I have been diagnosed with DDD lower back tho L3, 4 & 5.  I havepain not just in my lower back but hips, burning leg pain & some neck pain. I have had various steroid pain killer injections, non of which helped. I have also had pain epidural x 5. Randomly just one time this helped for about 3 mo ths, what a relief that was. I was me again! I suppose what I’m trying to say is you definitely can get refered  pain all Over the body from the  spot that’s actually got the problem. I have heard of some great experiences from injections tho, we are not all the same & if you are worried just about the thought of it don’t be.  It’s really not that bad, they do them all the time, they know what they are doing and it’s over real quick.

So hope you get some let up from your pain. Remember if your not happy with answeres from a consultant your GP can refer you to whom ever you choose, you have choices.

    Hi Harry,

I just wanted to say so sorry to hear you have been going through this terrible tough time. I have been having some problems with my lower back too this last year, and that brought me to the forum here.

I'm not an expert on any of the medical stuff or anything but want you to know that I believe you are going to get healed and get better Harry. I believe in God and believe He is going to help you, trusting in HIm for that.

Hoping you feel much better soon, there is nothing worse than pain and the discouragement and worry it brings over such a long period. Thinking about you and hang in there - things will get better for you I 100% believe that.

Thank you all for the replies... little update today I was listening to music while cleaning and Turned my neck a certain way and a spot in the top of my head started hurting... I have had this before actually on and off since last year it lead to a lot of anxiety and a MRI of the brain which came back normal... my mom thinks it’s sinuses but I think that would of showned up on my MRI I think it has something to maybe do with my neck? What do you all think I’m hoping to have my insurance restored in July and when I do I’m going to a orthopedist who’s specialist in the neck to see what he recommends

Really hoping things get better soon Harry, I know it's so tough I've been so anxious about my back too lately and it gets you really down and worried I totally understand. Please hang in there and if you can always worth seeing the doc or a specialist for their advice, but I know it can be costly too. Asking God for help has been the best thing I've done, telling him what's up and asking Him to bring healing, He knows the bigger picture and I just hope and pray for your healing Harry.

Thinking of you and hang in there, one day at a time.
