Hello,

Recently got my LFT, didn't get a chance to consult my doctor as he is not available.

Please go through my liver reports and please tell me if anything serious.

S.G.O.T. / AST = 29.04 U/L     (NORMAL RANGE 10-40)

S.G.P.T./ ALT = 59.84 U/L    (NORMAL RANGE 10-40)

Alkaline Phosphatase = 70.71 IU/L     (NORMAL RANGE 30-115)

Billiubin Total = 0.43 mg/dl     (NORMAL RANGE 0.2-1.2)

Billiubin Direct = 0.18 mg/dl     (NORMAL RANGE 0.0-0.5)

Indirect Billiubin = 0.25 mg/dl (NORMAL RANGE 0.1-1.0)

Total Protein = 7.35 g/dL     (NORMAL RANGE 6.0-8.0)

Albumin = 4.40 g/dL     (NORMAL RANGE 3.5-4.8)

Globulin    2.95

A/G Ratio     1.49

Gamma Glutamly Tranferase (GGT) 95.36 (NORMAL RANGE 7.0-50)

The ALT/SGPT and the GGT levels seem to be on the higher side. All other are inside the prescribed range.

I am 35 year old male.

I consume liquor 4 to 5 times in a week with 3-4 pegs 60 ml.

I don't smoke and no tobacco. I don't eat junk food regularly. Some time pizza or burger. (Once a month.)

I eat non veg. like Rosted chicken, Chilli chicken, Paneer chilli and Red meat a lot.

Tell me if my liver report says something serious and what can I do to reverse it.

Do I need to stop drinking forever right now OR I can start drinking again after 7 days of rest.

Please suggest.

I would highly be appreciated.

Thanking you
