Recommendation on private UK hospitals and surgeons for perineorrhaphy

Hi,

Following vaginal child birth I have been diagnosed with the need to undergo perineorrhaphy.

I live in Sweden where waiting times for perineorrhaphy under the national health care system are very long, in particular if you don't have the most severe symptoms.I'm therefore considering undergoing surgery at a private hospital. Unfortunately there are few to none surgeons in this space with a good reputation who work for private hospitals in Sweden.

I therefore consider going to the UK for the surgery. Does anyone here know what hospitals (and ideally names of individual surgeons) that are recognised as the leading experts on perineorrhaphy and that are known to carry out successful perineorrhaphy, also including reattaching torn muscles?

    forgive me if I wrong but I'm not sure if yiu can reattach torn muscle?

    I have a fab professor of Urogynacologist in Wales who does private work and I trust him 100%

    I feel so looked after and in the best hands.

    if you want his name I can private message you.

      could i please ask who your urogynaecologist is in wales? i have a prolapse and desperatley need a cyctocele fixed. could i please ask, was it just the standard cyctocele repair surgery you had with him? Thanks
