Recovering from surgery!!

Im just over 2 weeks post op, have had some internal bleesing which has now been helped and the pain has improved immensely. Im 22 so healing well but finding myself already going stir crazy cause I was living a very busy life now I feel trapped any suggestions on things I might be able ro go when more mobile to keep me sane?

    Have you had a knee replacement or different surgery? You're very young at 22 if is a TKR. What surgery you had will make a big difference to what you can do. Having said that all knees are different, some are up and out way before others. The knee dictates the recovery and soon lets us know if we overdo it. Walking is the best exercise to begin with and then cycling, swimming, Pilates and some gym equipment, but don't add weights too soon. Better to get a good range of movement before you start rebuilding muscle.

    I downloaded free online courses from Futurelearn, played mindless games on the ipad, read lots, did jigsaw puzzles & watched some films, although at first I found it hard not to drop off in the middle of a film. Good luck!
