Hey peopleĀ
I had a bladder neck incision to help with my slow and strained flow but I steel feel like I have to pee constantly. Has anyone had and recovered normal urination after a bladder neck incision?

Hi jack.
I'd give it a while. If you don't start to see improvements in two weeks I'd ask your doctor. But it can take up to 8 weeks to heal.
Make sure you drink plenty of water and urine alkalizer

I have had bladder outflow obstruction treated with tamsulosin for most of my adult life, with poor stream. Now 50 years old and 2 bouts of sepsis persuaded me to have the op. Had bladder neck resection 3 days ago, catheter removed yesterday. Flow much improved but have been experiencing partial incontinence since. Is this a common finding?Does it improve with time?

Hi gents, I'm 39 and have a tight bladder neck. It was confirmed with urodynamics and they have been very thorough. I've been holding back from having the operation because I'm worried about still being able to ejaculate. I would really appreciate some insight about whether you had any problems with this. Thanks in advance.

I had an "ejaculate preserving" BNI but lost about 70-80% ejaculatory function.

Jack, how are things now, did you get the intended benefits of BNI. i had mine three weeks back and already feeling that the procedure was not much help. Flow rate has come down and urgency to pee continues and with burning sensation while peeing. Keen to know if things improve in long term.

I am asking the same questions. My first 3 weeks were good and locked like I was on target for a quick recovery. After that urgency and frequency got worse. I was prescribed some myrbetriq last week.
well yesterday I had a whole day no sudden urges and frequency ever 3 or more hours. Today started with a 4 hour gap and I thought id turn the corner. became more frequent as day went on. and had bad urgency experience..at home Lucky.
I'm at week 6.5. i guess i am improving buts its slow and a rollercoaster. i have mild burning sometimes.
3 weeks in seems very early. At least here I can see I'm not alone
