Recovery after pilonidal excision surgery

Hey! Ive had the surgery on october 1st, and the cyst was located central over my tailbone with large internal lateral extensions. The wound was closed w stitches , right in the center on the spine between buttocks, about 10cm long, and the Dr told me it would take about 2/3 months to be 100%. I still have discomfort and bad days, so i don't know how long it will take to get over this nightmare... Can anyone help? Thank uu

    Was this your first surgery?

      This big yes.

I had the cyst lanced about 10years ago. And it stayed controlled until this last year, that's why I had the surgical removal.

I was just curious because I've just had my 6th surgery this disease is hell!!!

Have you had a check up with the surgeon and or dr? You could request an ultrasound to make sure it's healed properly
