Recovery from Shoulder Decompression

Any input on shoulder decompression surgery?  It's been two weeks and it's still pretty achy. I have great movement but I thought the pain would be gone by now.

Well tami ,,,I am almost 6 months ahead of you .with increasing pain ,,,not helped by the fact ,that the surgeon totally cut one tendon in half. and left a tear in the remaining one, , Top of shoulder ,hurts ,and swells up , muscles .top ,, side and underneath upper arm resent normal movement ,and muscle in lower arm has now joined the pain brigade . .AND ,,, I am left handed , makes life a tad difficult.

Stop trying to rush things . The surgery is quite a big job, and they do dig quite deeply into your shoulder

    Hence the pain
