Rectal/ anal polyps

Has anyone been diagnosed with rectal or anal polyps.  If so what are your symptoms please?

    I have had polyps removed from my descending colon, but nothing in my rectum. I didn't really have any symptoms, however I noticed a change in bowel habits. In other words, I would usually go the same time every day and the BM was normal, however that changed. Things were different. I would not go at the same time any more and the BM didn't look the same. You may have pencil thin stools or constipation. If things change you need to get it checked out.

      Thank you for replying it was only a wild guess as my anal/ rectum problem has been going on for around five months with no let up.  Going to see dr in a few days time.
