Rectal bleeding what shall I do

Hello guys

I am a 26 years old I suffer from slow constipation transit. I suffer from fissues and haemoroids. I was taking fybogel but it was making me feel sluggish and bloated and was going for a BM every 3 days now I am on laxido and going every 2 days and no longer feel bloated but now every BM I am passing bright red blood in my stools. I don't feel really any pain when I go as the laxido pushes it through nicely though I do have slow days currently I am on 1 sachet before bed shall I take 2 one in the morning?. I have been using rectogesic and though am not feeling much pain am still getting bleeding. I have a feeling it is the haemoroids. I just want an end to this so I can live a normalish life style. Any help or advice would be great am seeing the doctor on Friday.

Go and see the doctor but in the meantime try not to worry too much as bright red blood  is not a particularly worrying sight. Dark blood  can be a cause of concern but for peace of mind just seek medical  advice. Good luck

    Hey Justin,

Guess I could be your mum.

    Saw your posting.

You need to see a good colorectal specialist.

If live in London or near Harrow I suggest Mr. Antony Antiniou.

He consults at Northwick Park or London.

You may need a course of banding in the first instance.

If not successful then possibly HALO.

I have consulted with him although my problems are more of prolapse and he is not a prolapse expert.

He is a good doc. Very dedicated.

Get a private opinion which is faster.

    All the best
