Chrissy, it seems stitches come out in waves for me at least. I am post op 11 weeks urethra repair, anterior and posterior repair plus vaginal hernia a repair and it seemed that I had stitches dry up and let go at 4 weeks, six weeks, and even 10 weeks or so. My dr says the pain is from the stitches drying up and pulling on the tissue before they actually dissolve. I know different places use different sutures but my dr said the thread for stitching is very strong .
I describe recovery from all these procedures as a roller coaster ride so buckle up and hang on for the ride! Praying you have an UNeventful recovery!😄🙏
